We meet some fab people through helping at Pawz, but every now and again, we get SUPER FAB people coming along. We got an enquiry recently which said those magic words - 'willing to consider any temperament and any cat who is proving difficult to rehome, whether due to age, health or temperament'. Our most difficult to re-home cat got into his cat basket last Monday and is hopefully now sitting watching TV.
Molly (a boy!) came in with behaviour problems having had a difficult life with kids. He did not trust us at all and swiped as a defence mechanism. We have had him 6 months and he has calmed down lots. We could tell that he was desperate for love and attention, but couldn’t always allow himself to get close to us. We could have re-homed him on his stunning looks many times, but very few people would take him on. On Saturday, he chose his new family. He climbed all over them and it was wonderful to see. He then had a bit of a bite and lashed out, but, it didn't put them off!!! He has been playing with his toys and has settled in really well. Be happy our gorgeous Molly/Ollie, we are over the moon for you.
